Black trousers with a thin red stripe, tight blue shirts and of course always sunglasses on the nose. This is what real Carabineri look like!

The Italian law enforcement officers have made such an impression on the hotel owner Jörg Kläser in Merchweiler (Hotel-Bistro-Europa) that he not only dresses like them and drives their cars, but he has even built an entire hotel in the style of a Tuscan police station.
A year ago, he bought an old chicken coop on a neighboring property in the middle of Merchweiler and the 52-year-old quickly turned it into a guest house.
He did most of the renovations himself. The furnishings in the rooms obviously go a little beyond the amenities of a police station. Mr. Kläser and his workers had a lot of work to do.

"At first, it was difficult to see the house. It was overgrown with all kinds of plants. The plants grew through the house. You had to clear the land for 14 days before you could even see the house. It always made me happy when something beautiful came out of this "pile of rubbish",
so Jörg Kläser
